Author(s) MD ASIF IKBAL HOQUE
Country India
Abstract Childhood anxiety is increasingly recognized as a significant factor affecting academic performance, social interactions, and overall well-being in modern school systems. This paper explores the prevalence, causes, and manifestations of anxiety among school-aged children, examining how academic pressure, peer relationships, technological exposure, and parental expectations contribute to anxiety levels. Drawing on empirical studies and psychological theory, the paper highlights strategies for identification, intervention, and prevention of anxiety in schools. Evidence-based recommendations are provided for educators, parents, and policymakers to create supportive environments that promote emotional resilience and academic success.
