Abstract Discipline is a critical factor in shaping children’s academic success and overall development. This paper examines the role of self-discipline, parental guidance, and school-based disciplinary practices in influencing children’s learning outcomes, study habits, and classroom behavior. Drawing on empirical research and educational theory, the study highlights how consistent routines, goal-setting, time management, and behavioral expectations contribute to cognitive, emotional, and social growth. Evidence-based recommendations for parents, teachers, and policymakers are provided to foster disciplined environments that promote academic achievement and holistic development
