| Abstract | Grandparents play a vital role in the social, emotional, and moral development of children. This paper explores how grandparents contribute to value-based learning by imparting life lessons, cultural traditions, ethical principles, and emotional support. Drawing on empirical studies and theoretical frameworks in developmental psychology and family studies, the paper highlights mechanisms through which grandparents influence character formation, empathy, respect, and social responsibility in children. Recommendations are provided for families, educators, and policymakers to harness intergenerational learning for fostering holistic child development. |
