Abstract Abstract:

Background: Labour is a complex physiological process often accompanied by intense pain and physical stress. Maternal positioning during labour can significantly influence pain perception, labour progression, and birth outcomes. The squatting position, a natural and gravity-assisted posture, has been suggested to enhance uterine contractions, shorten labour duration, and improve maternal and neonatal outcomes.
