Influence of Digital Media on Child Behavior

Author(s) SUDIPTA SAHA

Abstract Digital media has become an integral part of children’s daily lives, influencing their behavior, communication, and cognitive growth. This study explores how extended exposure to screens and online content affects a child’s emotional, social, and academic development. Findings suggest that while digital media provides educational opportunities and global awareness, it also contributes to distraction, social withdrawal, and reduced physical activity. The research further discusses the importance of parental guidance and media literacy to help children use technology responsibly and productively.
