Role of Moral Education in Building Children’s Character

Abstract This paper explores the significance of moral education in shaping the character of children. It examines how structured moral guidance in schools, homes, and communities contributes to ethical understanding, empathy, social responsibility, and decision-making skills. Drawing on educational psychology, moral development theories, and empirical research, the study highlights the ways moral education fosters positive behavior, social harmony, and lifelong ethical values in children.
