Abstract Gingival recession in the mandibular anterior region poses both aesthetic and functional challenges. Free gingival graft (FGG) remains a predictable and effective technique for achieving root coverage and increasing the width of keratinized gingiva. A 35-year-old female patient presented with a chief complaint of unaesthetic gums in the mandibular anterior region. Clinical examination revealed Miller’s Class II gingival recession in relation to 41. FGG was harvested from the palatal region and grafted onto the recipient site. At six months, the surgical site demonstrated complete root coverage with a significant gain in keratinized gingiva.
