Exploring the Landscape of Sustainable Entrepreneurship Innovation and the Obstacles in India

Abstract	Millions worldwide live in poverty, marked by wealth, opportunity, and gender disparities, along with high unemployment. Humanity faces significant challenges, including global health crises, natural disasters, extremism, terrorism, resource depletion, environmental degradation, and freshwater scarcity. Climate change exacerbates these issues, particularly affecting coastal areas, less developed nations, and small island states, undermining global sustainable development efforts. Sustainable Entrepreneurship (SE) offers solutions to these challenges by creating innovative products, services, processes, and organizational models that reduce social and environmental impacts while improving living standards. However, research integrating sustainable development with entrepreneurship is still nascent. This paper focuses on identifying sustainable innovative entrepreneurship practices in India, their challenges, and the measures initiated by the Indian government to promote sustainable entrepreneurship.
