Abstract Considering the agricultural sector, agriculture has immense importance in the Indian economy. Agriculture is one of the oldest professions in the world and is still practiced on a large scale in modern times. The role of women in Indian agriculture is very important because women agricultural laborers are constantly involved in the journey from planting seeds to harvesting. They go to work in the fields as laborers, fulfilling all the responsibilities of the family. While working in the fields, womenagricultural laborers have to face various types of problems such as physical, mental, family, economic, social.

The Indian economy has a large population working in the unorganized sector. Women agricultural laborers are also an important factor in this unorganized sector. Women agricultural laborers are paid lower wages than men. Even while doing the same work, they are paid less for their work. Therefore, women agricultural laborers are subject to financial problems due to lack of proper wages. In the present research paper, an attempt has been made to study the factors such as inadequate education, indebtedness, unemployment, health, and various problems of women agricultural laborers. It presents various government measures as well as the conclusions and recommendations from the study. Overall, this topic has been selected with the aim of studying the problems of women agricultural laborers near the industrial areas of Chandrapur district.
