| Abstract | As organizations grapple with high application volumes and the demand for efficient, high-quality hiring, artificial intelligence is revolutionizing the recruitment landscape. AI powered hiring harness technologies such as natural language processing and machine learning to automate resume screening, analyze candidate backgrounds, and assess skills with greater speed and accuracy than traditional methods. These systems not only streamline the shortlisting of qualified applicants—significantly reducing both hiring time and recruitment costs—but also enhance consistency, personalization, and scalability throughout the process. However, as AI assumes a central role in talent acquisition, new challenges emerge around algorithmic bias, transparency, and data privacy. This paper examines the design and transformative benefits of AI-driven hiring solutions, while critically evaluating the ethical and practical considerations essential for responsible implementation. The proposed framework seeks an optimal balance between operational efficiency and the principles of fairness and transparency, ensuring AI-driven recruitment empowers both organizations and candidates alike. |
