| Abstract | Abstract Teacher education today stands at a crossroads where traditional methods are no longer sufficient to prepare educators for the uncertainties of the future. Rapid technological developments, climate crises, global health emergencies, and growing social inequalities demand fresh approaches to how teachers are trained. This paper takes a theoretical approach to explore how insights from multiple disciplines can help strengthen resilience in teacher education. By drawing knowledge from psychology, sociology, philosophy, technology studies, and sustainability education, the discussion highlights ways to nurture adaptability, critical thinking, intercultural understanding, and digital competence among prospective teachers. The paper emphasizes that resilience in education is more than individual coping—it involves creating systems that are collaborative, inclusive, and forward-looking. Multidisciplinary strategies thus offer teacher educators and policymakers practical ways to rethink teacher preparation programs, enabling them to respond effectively to both present challenges and those yet to come. The article concludes with implications for curriculum design and policy reform in teacher education. |
