Transforming Teacher Education through NEP 2020: A Curriculum Perspective

Abstract This paper's goal is to include the teacher education curriculum suggestions from NEP-2020. Understanding the value of teacher education curricula in fostering multilingualism and holistic development is an undertaking. Themes including the National Curriculum Framework for Teacher Education (NCFTE), the principles, the NEP-2020 curriculum guideline for teacher education, and the difficulties were also covered. This essay focusses on teacher education, which is covered in higher education's NEP-2020 part II. The nature of the current investigation is qualitative. According to the study's findings, the NEP-2020 teacher education curriculum will improve teachers' quality and modernise their abilities.
