| Abstract | Entrepreneurship involves spotting opportunities, gathering resources, and planning and executing within specific time limits. Recently, institutional incubators have been understood and used as tools for fostering entrepreneurship and new venture creation within students. Training students for entrepreneurship prepares them to recognize opportunities, develop businesses, create ventures, and advance in their careers, thus generating direct and indirect employment. This article focuses to exploring one student entrepreneurial goal and specifically the impact of entrepreneurship tasks and activities on that entrepreneurial goal. In this study, purposive sampling was adopted. It was discovered that entrepreneurial training and related initiatives greatly influence students’ entrepreneurial intent. An analysis of entrepreneurial intent showed that, relative to the mean score, students in the arts and science streams of colleges exhibit higher levels of entrepreneurial intent. This was further corroborated by the positive correlation between the two variables of entrepreneurial training and student incubators, thus confirming that entrepreneurial intent of students was bolstered. Consequently, there was an increase in the number of new entrepreneurs and start-ups emerging among students from the arts and science colleges. |
