Abstract Pensioners constitute an important section of society, often facing financial, social, and psychological challenges post-retirement. This study aims to investigate the socioeconomic status of retired government employees (above 60 years), examine problems related to pension, and explore the relationship between pension adequacy and general well-being. A survey of 100 pensioners in the Urban area of District Bulandshahr was conducted using structured questionnaires and the interview method through random sampling. Findings revealed that socioeconomic factors significantly influence pension satisfaction, and pension adequacy is positively associated with physical, psychological, and social well-being.
