Management of Wild boars (Sus scrofa) in Groundnut through different methods

Abstract Wild boars are attacking the field crops like Groundnut, Paddy, Maize etc., Due to wild boars the yield of Groundnut is being decreased in Annamayya District. KVK, Kalikiri conducted 3 treatments such as Solar fence, tying of rope dipped waste engine oil of 5 litres + wettable sulphur of 1 kg and old sarees around the Groundnut field in 3 farmers fields. Solar fence installed around the field proved to be effective in controlling the wild boars.
