Abstract Breastfeeding is the simplest, healthiest, and most cost- effective method of feeding that meets an infant's nutritional needs. Approximately two days after delivery, women commonly experience breast fullness due to milk production - a normal physiological process. However, this can lead to engorgement, making the breasts hard, swollen, and painful. Breast engorgement is particularly distressing in the early postpartum period and can hinder successful breastfeeding, potentially leading to early cessation and complications such as breast infections.
Keywords Assess, Effectiveness, Reverse pressure softening(RPS) technique, postnatal mothers, Breast engorgement, Breastfeeding.
