| Abstract | This research is analysis the major challenges of financial management in libraries, examining issues such as budget allocation, resource acquisition, technological investments, human resource management, and accountability. The discussion includes both Indian and international perspectives, highlighting case examples and strategies for overcoming these challenges. Financial management in libraries has become a complex and crucial task in the modern information era. Libraries, whether academic, public, or special, face immense pressure to deliver quality information services amidst shrinking budgets, rising operational costs, and evolving user expectations. Efficient financial management ensures not only the sustainability of library operations but also the achievement of institutional goals such as access, equity, and innovation. |
