Author(s) Dr. Pintu Singha
Country India
Abstract This research article examines the challenges and opportunities of e-learning for women’s education in developing countries, drawing insights from the experiences of Women Online University and other global and Indian studies. The study explores the impact of digital learning on women’s empowerment, the barriers to technological access, and the socio-economic implications of inclusive education. Results from empirical studies indicate that e-learning has a transformative role in advancing gender equality by enabling flexibility and accessibility. However, challenges such as digital illiteracy, socio-cultural constraints, and infrastructure gaps persist. The findings emphasize the importance of policy intervention, digital literacy programs, and inclusive pedagogy to ensure equitable participation of women in online education.
