Exploring the Antecedents of Organisational Performance in the Indian Travel Industry

Abstract The aim of this study is to identify the factors affecting the organizational performance of the female employees working in the Delhi- NCR travel industry. Data for this study were collected from 236 female employees working in Delhi-NCR travel industry through a structured questionnaire. The factor analysis was used to identify the factors affecting organizational performance of the travel industry via SPSS version 20. Findings of this study revealed fives factors (employee development and retention, customer relations and satisfaction, financial and market performance, innovation and technology adoption, and competitive advantage and service quality) that influence organizational performance. The study provided recommendations for the efficient performance of the travel companies operating in Delhi-NCR. The study suggested to strengthen the workforce capabilities, enhance customer experience, optimize financial performance, accelerate innovation and technology integration, and improve service excellence and competitiveness.
