Abstract In a world when financial options abound, judgments must be balanced and intelligently made. But the study of behavioral finance sheds light on how people behave and how they diverge from reason when making decisions. The goal of this paper is to map the body of scholarly research on the subject of behavioral biases in investing decision-making. From the Dimensions database, 1160 research papers were obtained for the study. The use of the bibliometric and visualization tool VOS viewer has enriched the literature on behavioral biases by assisting in the identification of significant journals, prolific writers, nations, and associations. Lastly, this review's study directions will serve as a guide for future investigations.
