| Abstract | A field study was conducted to evaluate the effects of nano urea and nano DAP on tree mulberry (Morus spp.) and their influence on the V-1 variety of silkworm (Bombyx mori) during the 2024-25 season. Different doses of nano urea and nano DAP were applied as foliar sprays on the 25th and 35th days after pruning, alongside reduced doses of conventional fertilizers. The results showed that spraying mulberry leaves with both nano urea and nano DAP at a concentration of 4 ml/L each was effective for enhancing various economic traits. These traits included full-grown larval weight, effective rearing rate, silk productivity, cocoon weight, pupal weight, fecundity, single cocoon filament length, single cocoon filament weight, denier, and various biochemical parameters. In conclusion, the findings of this study indicate that the foliar application of these nutrient treatments improved the quality of mulberry leaves and larval characteristics |
