| Abstract | This research focuses on how Santali cinema addresses key aspects including the portrayal of tribal issues in mass media, promotion of indigenous cultural values, its impact on lifestyle, creation of employment opportunities, and its potential as a developmental tool by the government. Based on survey data from tribal respondents, this study examines perceptions about the adequacy of media space dedicated to tribal issues and the distinctive position of Santali cinema as a voice of cultural representation. |
