Abstract The study explored how fear of intimacy and emotional dependency affect relationship satisfaction among young adults aged 18 to 25. Using standardized psychological measures on 200 participants, the findings revealed no significant gender differences in fear of intimacy or relationship satisfaction, but males showed higher emotional dependency than females. Emotional dependency and Fear of intimacy were found to influence relationship satisfaction significantly, highlighting the importance of fostering emotional awareness, communication, and healthy dependency patterns to enhance young adults’ relationship quality and well-being.
