Abstract Charitable giving in today’s digital age faces challenges such as transparency, accountability, and secure communication. Donors often worry about whether their contributions reach the intended recipients, while orphanage trusts may struggle to maintain credibility and trust with supporters. Addressing these challenges requires a system that ensures secure, traceable, and reliable donation management. This project presents a web-based donation platform designed to connect donors with verified orphanage trusts in Chennai. Donors register by submitting personal details and a photograph, which forms a dataset for verification. The platform employs the K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) algorithm for facial recognition, ensuring that only authenticated donors can access the system. Secure communication is maintained through the Gmail API with AES encryption, which sends automated emails containing login credentials and donation confirmations. Donors can select trusts, monitor contributions via a personalized dashboard, and receive expense bills, ensuring accountability. Developed using Python and Flask, the system also features QR code generation, secure login, and automated notifications, combining modern web technologies, facial recognition, and encryption to provide a transparent, efficient, and trustworthy donation management solution.
