| Abstract | The hospitality industry is undergoing profound change from digital technologies that reshape guest experiences, operations, and workforce management. Yet human resource management (HRM) functions in hotels and other hospitality firms often lag in adopting strategic digital transformation (DT). This paper proposes a conceptual framework for digital transformation in hospitality HRM, identifying drivers, key dimensions (technologies, HR processes, competencies, culture) and expected outcomes (employee performance, service quality, innovation). We discuss the framework’s implications for hospitality firms, HR professionals and researchers, and suggest future empirical avenues. The framework provides a tool for understanding how hospitality organisations can innovate HRM through digital technologies to enhance competitiveness and agility. |
