Adoption Of AI Tools In Higher Education Project Work: Difficulties And Opportunities

Abstract The way students organize, carry out, and submit academic assignments has changed as a result of the introduction of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies into higher education. This study examines the two facets of this shift, stressing the potential and difficulties related to students in higher education using AI tools for their projects. The study looks at pedagogical, technological, and ethical obstacles while demonstrating how AI-powered platforms—like ChatGPT, Grammarly, Copilot, and data analytics tools—help boost productivity, creativity, and academic output. The study reveals trends in AI use, opinions about its advantages, and issues with academic integrity, digital literacy, and an excessive reliance on automation using a mixed-method approach that includes surveys and interviews with teachers and students. The results show that although AI tools provide previously unheard-of chances for individualized education, creativity, and skill development, organizations must put in place explicit policies, instruction, and moral frameworks to guarantee responsible usage. This research offers guidance to institutions, educators, and legislators that want to strike a balance between integrity and innovation in AI-driven learning environments.
