Abstract This study aims to investigate the factors affecting the job involvement of female employees working in travel companies in India. The population for this study consisted of female employees working in Delhi/NCR travel companies. The study adopted a questionnaire developed by an extensive literature review, and convenience sampling was used to distribute the questionnaires. A total of 150 questionnaires were distributed but only 126 complete responses were found valid. The findings revealed five factors that influence the employee’s job
involvement in the travel industry. These factors include dedication to duties and tasks, motivation and satisfaction, proactive participation in tasks, workplace pressure with resilience, and work-life balance. This study recommended to enhance employee commitment, proactive involvement, resilience under pressure, and a healthy work-life balance for the success of an organisation.
