| Abstract | This study investigates the effectiveness of educational guidance and counselling services in addressing the academic, emotional, and career-related challenges faced by Class 10 students in the Bundelkhand region. Utilizing a sample of 100 students from diverse schools, the research adopted quantitative and qualitative methods to assess key counselling issues—academic stress, career confusion, family pressure, peer relationships, and emotional wellbeing—and measured intervention efficacy through student-reported satisfaction scores. Findings revealed academic stress and career confusion as predominant concerns, with career-focused counselling yielding the highest satisfaction ratings. The study highlights how structured guidance and counselling programs not only mitigate immediate stressors but also foster self-confidence, critical decision-making, and emotional resilience among adolescents. Results emphasize the necessity of integrating comprehensive support systems within schools, especially in regions like Bundelkhand where socio-economic factors heighten the demand for personalized guidance. This research provides actionable insights for educators, counsellors, and policymakers seeking to enhance the development and wellbeing of students through targeted guidance interventions |
