Abstract The time aspect of information is crucial, involving factors like how current it is, how often it's updated, and when it's relevant. This affects students and educators in both positive and negative ways.
One issue linked to time in education is information overload. With lots of digital resources available, students can get overwhelmed. Figuring out what's important and up-to-date becomes tough, causing stress.
However, time-related info also offers benefits. Current, helpful info boosts learning and decision-making. Keeping up-to-date aids learning and engagement, leading to better student performance.
This study checks how time-related info affects bachelor students' decisions at OCEM. We used surveys from 298 students. Results show most (61.4%) face info overload. Also, 53% lack timely access to digital resources. But 99% see benefits in timely, relevant info for learning. Similarly, 98% believe time-related info boosts academic performance at OCEM.
