| Abstract | This article examines the role of English as a second language in India. It delineates language and specifies variables pertinent to second language acquisition. It highlights the challenges faced by English learners and the most effective approach to language acquisition for Indian second-language learners. Language is instrumental for communication across various circumstances. Mastering a second language requires intentional and methodical work. All native speakers of a language encounter difficulties in learning a second language. Many Indian students, particularly from rural regions, reside in Telangana, Bihar, eastern Uttar Pradesh, and Maharashtra, perceiving this seven-letter term as enigmatic and legendary. Upon hearing English, they experience discomfort. Consequently, English educators encounter significant hurdles. Students encounter difficulties with English auditory comprehension. What are the reasons? What solutions may be implemented to rectify these issues? This research centres on second language acquisition and its gradual progression. These problems can be resolved with appropriate protocols. |
