Abstract Abstract: This research paper analyzes the green banking practices with more knowledge about the products and services cover under the green banking. This paper finds out the process for implementing in green banking. The current research paper also covers the recent developments are made by Indian banks for sustainable developments and challenges faced by banks in implementations. This paper is conceptual in nature and based on secondary data, literature reviews and websites of financial institutions.

This paper finds out that there is utmost need to create awareness, implement and adopt green banking as much as possible in today’s business era of innovative technologies so as to make our environment human friendly and enrich the sustainability development.
