Abstract Traditional centralized messaging platforms often face security vulnerabilities, system downtime, and potential violations of user privacy due to their reliance on a single controlling authority. Such systems are susceptible to data breaches, censorship, and unauthorized access, raising concerns about message confidentiality and data integrity.
This research proposes a blockchain-based decentralized chatting application designed to enable secure, private, and censorship-resistant communication. The system utilizes a peer-to-peer (P2P) architecture to eliminate single points of failure, ensuring enhanced reliability and transparency. Integrated end-to-end encryption provides robust data protection, while an innovative background crypto-mining mechanism strengthens network security and optimizes resource utilization by preventing redundant mining operations.
A tokenized incentive model is incorporated to reward user participation, fostering active engagement and maintaining network sustainability. The proposed system aims to establish an immutable and scalable communication platform that guarantees zero downtime and tamper-proof message exchange. Future work will focus on evaluating the application’s performance in terms of scalability, latency, and computational efficiency, followed by potential real-world deployment to validate its effectiveness.
