Ethnomedicinal Survey of Medicinal Plants in Binpur II Block of Jhargram District, West Bengal, India

Abstract An ethnomedicinal survey was conducted in Binpur II block of Jhargram district, West Bengal, India regarding ethnomedicinal uses to figure out the traditional knowledge of local people. This study was conducted as a study of the local flora used in treatment of some diseases and assessment of such flora conservation status. In this research, local healers, tribal community members and village elders were interviewed, for details of plant species and their therapeutic uses.
