Abstract Knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) about sports nutrition is found to influence performance of athletes, recovery, and injury prevention. However, there is no instrument available in India that is standardised, relevant in terms of culture, and also is a validated on to assess KAP about sports nutrition in Indian elite athletes.
