| Abstract | Abstract Introduction: Episiotomy, a common surgical incision made in the perineum to aid vaginal delivery, frequently results in significant postpartum perineal pain and discomfort, which can interfere with maternal-infant bonding and daily activities. This study investigated the comparative efficacy of two popular, non-pharmacological interventions—Infrared Therapy and Warm Water Sitz Baths—on episiotomy wound healing and pain perception. |
