Abstract In this Research Paper I will be exploring the term ‘bumper production,’ its reasons, impact on farmers, economic impact, historical significance, current relevance, and government roles using the help of statistical analyses, economic theory and real-life examples. This will be done in order to determine whether bumper production is a boon or bane for farmers in India.
