Comprehensive Aesthetic Analysis of the Dentofacial Complex

Abstract	The soft tissue paradigm has emerged in modern dentistry and orthodontics as a result of people's evolving perceptions of facial beauty. This paradigm acknowledges the increasing significance of balancing the soft tissue function and aesthetics with the therapeutic orthodontic goal of tooth alignment. The aesthetic dentofacial analysis is holistic approach that ensures harmony between facial, smile and dental components leading to functionally stable and aesthetic results. This article highlights of the significance of aesthetics in orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning and the different aspects of aesthetics including macro-, micro, and mini aesthetics.
