Abstract The proliferation of artificial intelligence, deepfakes, and other synthetic media technologies has generated profound challenges for child protection in digital environments. These technologies, while transformative, have also been exploited to fabricate and disseminate deceptive or abusive content, eroding the integrity of childhood and undermining public trust in digital authenticity. This research advances the notion of forensic resilience as a foundational principle for strengthening the capacity of digital forensics to detect, investigate, and counteract synthetic exploitation. Through a multidisciplinary analysis that bridges technological, legal, and ethical domains, the study proposes a comprehensive digital investigative framework tailored to the complexities of AI-generated child abuse material and synthetic media manipulation. The framework emphasizes proactive detection mechanisms, algorithmic traceability, forensic authenticity verification, and inter-agency collaboration as key pillars of resilience. In evaluating current digital forensic tools and regulatory mechanisms, the research identifies critical gaps in evidentiary standards, international coordination, and technological adaptability. By integrating AI-assisted forensic analytics with child protection policy, the study provides a roadmap for creating trustworthy digital environments that safeguard the dignity, privacy, and innocence of children. Ultimately, it situates forensic resilience as an essential strategy for preserving both evidentiary integrity and human security in the era of synthetic deception.
