Ethnomedicinal Uses of Plants in Gopiballavpur Block-II of Jhargram District, West Bengal, India

Abstract Gopiballavpur Block-2 in the Jhargram district in the south west of West Bengal. The adjacent states, which boarder this place, are Jharkhand and Odisha. The block is covered by the dry deciduous forest and contains large population of tribal people. The current paper is about ethno medical plants among the tribals such as Santal, Lodha, Munda, Bhumij and Sabar. The questionnaire was founded on the large-scale collection of data seasonality in various villages of the block.
