| Abstract | Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is a structured process followed by software organizations to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software systems. It defines a series of stages that transform user requirements into a fully functional software product. The SDLC framework ensures cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and quality by providing a systematic approach to software creation. This paper explores various SDLC models such as the Waterfall Model, Agile Model, Spiral Model, and V-Model. It highlights their advantages, limitations, and real-world applications. By comparing traditional and modern approaches, this study emphasizes how the right SDLC model selection enhances software reliability, reduces risks, and improves project success rates. |
