Abstract	Dental caries is the most common chronic infectious disease of childhood caused by interaction of bacteria ,mainly streptococcus mutants and sugary foods. visual analogue scale of faces (VASOF) is regarded as the gold standard for pain recording in children. Usually pain felt better within 2 hours of medication. This Shows that homoeopathy is well suited for acute pain especially in the field of dentistry.
