Impact of stress on employee productivity

Abstract Workplace stress has become a critical challenge affecting employee well-being and organizational outcomes. This research paper examines the impact of stress on employee productivity, drawing insights from empirical studies published between 2020 and 2025. Findings indicate that high stress adversely affects cognitive functioning, mental health, job satisfaction, and overall work output. The paper also highlights organizational implications and existing research gaps while emphasizing the need for effective stress-management strategies.
