Abstract The Carreau fluid is a type of non-Newtonian fluid that exhibits shear-thinning behavior, meaning its viscosity decreases under increasing shear stress. This property makes it useful in a variety of applications where fluid flow behavior needs to be precisely controlled. In this article, non-Newtonian fluid flow over an elongating surface with vanishing mass flux boundary condition is discussed.
Keywords Heat transfer, mass transfer, non-Newtonian fluids.
