Biodiversity Survey of the Kondeshwar Region from Amravati District

Abstract Abstract:-Govindpur located near Amravati on NH 6 highway has Kondeshwar is an ancient temple of shiva situated near to Amravati and Badnera. This temple is situated at the foothills of Pohara Malkhed forest, Kailash hills known as Kailash tekdi in local language on it many types of herbs, shrubs and trees are found as i visited in mid of April many types of deciduous trees and dry shrubs are found. Kondeshwar is patch of forest which is near to temple and rich in biodiversity and green picturesque jungle. Morinda pubescens plants are observed in region specifically near temple and on old mini bypass MIDC area highway from Amravati to Badnera and Kondeshwar.
