| Abstract | There have been serious problems with the manual management of clinic records and services at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) Oroquieta. Over the years, the school has been relying on a paper-based system, which appears to be time-consuming and inefficient. The Syncare project was developed to address this problem, which provides a comprehensive digital platform for the automation of the processes and improves communication between the USTP community and clinic staff. The system allows users to book appointments, view available services, examine medicine and supply inventories in real-time, submit feedback, and utilize a chatbot for common queries or private messaging for confidential concerns. The evaluation was validated through quantitative surveys and developed using Agile methodology. Results from usability testing (n=229) confirm that Syncare successfully addresses key operational challenges. With a weighted mean of 4.89, the data shows a significant reduction in manual workload and an improvement in service efficiency. Furthermore, the system was found to strengthen the clinic-user relationship, contributing to a more responsive healthcare environment that aligns with current digital health standards. |
