| Abstract | Theatre, often viewed solely as a medium of artistic expression, holds untapped potential as a training ground for corporate leadership. This paper explores how theatre practices—particularly rehearsals, roleplay, and live performance—develop core leadership competencies such as emotional intelligence, adaptability, crisis management, and collaborative decision-making. Through stagecraft, individuals gain the ability to interpret non-verbal cues, manage high-pressure scenarios, and communicate with strategic clarity—skills that are directly transferable to complex corporate environments. By drawing parallels between theatrical methods and leadership demands, this study proposes that theatre can serve as an experiential tool for leadership development. The paper introduces a structured mapping of theatrical practices to leadership outcomes, encouraging organizations to adopt theatre-based approaches in leadership training programs. The findings suggest that integrating theatre techniques fosters more resilient, empathetic, and agile leaders, capable of navigating today’s dynamic professional landscape with creativity and presence. |
