| Abstract | Human Resource Planning (HRP) plays a crucial role in aligning workforce capabilities with the strategic goals of an organization, thereby acting as a key driver of organizational development. This study examines the significance of HRP in ensuring the right number of people with the right skills are available at the right time to meet organizational needs. It explores how effective HRP contributes to talent acquisition, skill enhancement, succession planning, employee retention, and overall performance improvement. By integrating HRP with organizational development strategies, organizations can foster adaptability, innovation, and sustainable growth in a competitive environment. The paper draws upon existing literature, case studies, and empirical findings to highlight the relationship between HRP practices and long-term organizational effectiveness. The study concludes that systematic HRP is not only a workforce management tool but also a strategic enabler that strengthens organizational resilience and drives development. |
