| Abstract | Trauma doctors work in a place where every minute matters, stress is high, and hurt is always around them. They have to move fast, stay sharp, and hide their feelings as they go. This paper looks at how heavy the mind and heart burden is for trauma doctors, how it affects their minds, how tired their bodies get, and the rules of the game in medical work. It talks a lot about the work of trauma surgeons, with stories from surgeons who have been through it, and shows how the non-stop flow of life and pain shape how they feel in their heads, at their house, and at work. It also shows how being helped by the people at the hospital is such a big thing for the surgeons to stay strong and get by the hard parts of their work. |
