| Abstract | The field of artificial intelligence is gaining more popularity in our lives, and it can revolutionize numerous spheres of social life, including the legal system. Although AI can be used to empower the rule of law, it presents great challenges and dangers, especially in terms of bias and discrimination. To guarantee that AI is consistent with the rule of law, it is vital to adopt a holistic and interdisciplinary perspective that would bring into view the legal, ethical, social, and technical aspects of AI. This includes the design and utilization of AI systems in a transparent, accountable, fair, and law-abiding manner, in addition to engaging various stakeholders. The key to ensuring that AI is not a threat to the rule of law is to ensure that AI advances the value of justice, equality, and human rights in the digital age and a more just and equitable society. |
