| Abstract | Pratishyay (Origin) Prati- Abhimukha which means towards and Syay- Gamana or Gati means Movement. General meaning of Pratishyay Moving towards. ‘Vatam prati abhimukham syayate iti Pratishyayaha”. The disease in which Kaphadi doshas moves towards the direction of vata dosha is called as Pratishyay. Pratishyay is one among Nasaroga which is first and foremost and important condition. If it is not treated in its early stage it will leads to jeerna Pratishyay,Peenasa, Putinasa and other related diseases Further leads to Kasa, Swasa, and Kshaya.One of the five varieties of Pratishyay is Anaddha Pihita Nasa, Tanusrava, shosha in Gala, Taalu, and Oshta, and discomfort in Shankhapradesha and Swaropaghtha are the hallmarks of this prevalent illness. It is associated with allergic rhinorrhea. This illness is characterized by periods of watery nasal discharge. An instantaneous hypersensitivity response to the nasal mucosa cause allergic rhinitis. Objective: The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Tribhuvan Mishran with Anutail Nasya in the management of Pratishyay (Allergic Rhinitis). Method: The patient who had been experiencing episodes of sneezing, running nose,and itching in the nose and eyes visited the ENT outpatient department at the Shalakya Tantra unit of Mansarovar Ayurvedic Medical College Hospital and Research Centre in Bhopal (M.P.). We started the Anu Taila Nasya procedure (once a day) for 7 days and Tribhuvan Mishran 1 tab twice a day. Result: The patient's symptoms significantly improved, and the results of the haematological tests revealed significant alterations. Discussion & Conclusion: Pratishyay affects Urdhwajatru, Particularly N asa, And interferes with the Patients way of life. Vata and kaphaj Vyadhi predominate. Since Nasya and Abhyantara yoga are vata- Kapha in nature and have anti- inflammatory and anti- allergic properties, they have demonstrated a noticeable improvement.so ,In the present study Tribhuvan Mishran with Anutail Nasya is an effective and safe therapeutic procedure in the management of Pratishyay . |
